Esse trabalho pretende demonstrar como a dominação masculina permeia todos os espaços sociais, especialmente o campo da arte. A partir dos conceitos de crença do semiótico Charles Peirce e de habitus do sociólogo Pierre Bourdieu propõe-se a investigar a questão da invisibilidade das mulheres no campo artístico. Além disso, pontua em como artistas mulheres e seus trabalhos dentro da temática feminista possibilitam a desconstrução da ortodoxia nas relações de gênero no ambiente estético.

This paper aims to demonstrate how male domination permeates all social spaces, especially in the field of art. From the concepts of the belief of the semiotic Charles Peirce and habitus of the sociologist Pierre Bourdieu, proposes to investigate the issue of the invisibility of women in the artistic field. In addition, it points out how women artists and their work within the feminist theme enable the deconstruction of orthodoxy in gender relations in the aesthetic environment.
