A Fazenda Pública, empenhando-se na busca de aprimorar a cobrança e a recuperação da Dívida Ativa, objetivando, uma maior eficiência na arrecadação, tem-se utilizado de medidas alternativas à cobrança convencional do crédito público. Entre essas medidas alternativas ao executivo fiscal, que vem sendo encampadas pela Fazenda Pública na tentativa de recuperação do crédito fiscal, está o Protesto de Certidão de Dívida Ativa e a averbação pré-executória.

The Public Treasury, striving to improve the collection and recovery of Active Debt, aiming at a more efficient collection, has been used of alternative measures to the conventional collection of public credit. Among these alternative measures to the fiscal executive, which has been filed by the Treasury in the attempt to recover the tax credit, is the Protest of Certificate of Active Debt and the pre-executory endorsement.
