A MULHER NO CÁRCERE: A VIOLAÇÃO DA DIGNIDADE HUMANA NO SISTEMA PRISIONAL

O presente trabalho, cuja linha de pesquisa subsidiou a elaboração do projeto intitulado “A mulher no cárcere: a violação da dignidade humana no sistema prisional ” tem por objetivo, através de dados estatísticos e informativos, depoimentos e pesquisas mostrar a triste realidade das mulheres nos presídios brasileiros, as condições degradantes que muitas mulheres grávidas são submetidas dentro do sistema e as consequências do encarceramento no vínculo familiar. A pesquisa proposta pertence a vertente metodológica jurídico-sociológica e o tipo de investigação escolhido foi, na classificação Witker (1985) e Gustin (2010), o tipo jurídico-interpretativo.

THE WOMAN IN JAIL: THE VIOLATION OF HUMAN DIGNITY IN THE PRISION SYSTEM

The present works, whose research line supported the elaboration of the project entitled "Women in prison: the violation of human dignity in the prison system " aims, through statistical and informational data, testimonials and researches show the sad reality of woman in Brazilian prisons, the degrading conditions that many pregnant women are subjected to within the prison system and the consequences of incarceration in the family bond. The proposed research belongs to the juridical-sociological methodological aspects and the type of research chosen was, in the Witker (1985) and Gustin (2010) classification, the juridical-interpretative type.
