O presente trabalho acadêmico tem por objetivo analisar a solidariedade como princípio necessário à implementação e manutenção do Estado Democrático de Direito, em especial nas relações sociais e econômicas, utilizando principalmente os ensinamentos do filósofo alemão Jürgen Habermas. Nesse sentido procura-se demonstrar que a crise econômica mundial e brasileira tem como uma das suas causas o distanciamento do Estado e Sociedade Civil da solidariedade.

THE DEMOCRATIC STATE OF LAW AND SOLIDARITY

This academic work aims to analyze solidarity as a necessary principle for the implementation and maintenance of the Democratic State of Law, especially in social and economic relations, using mainly the teachings of the German philosopher Jürgen Habermas. In this sense, it is tried to demonstrate that the global and Brazilian economic crisis has as one of its causes the distancing of the State and Civil Society from solidarity.
