UNIVERSITÁRIOS COMO AGENTES MULTIPLICADORES: DIREITOS HUMANOS E EDUCAÇÃO AMBIENTAL PARA TRANSFORMAÇÃO SOCIAL CONSUBSTANCIADA NO DESENVOLVIMENTO SUSTENTÁVEL

É possível, à comunidade, desenvolver, por meio da educação ambiental, consciência ecológica crítica, em prol de uma transformação social, conforme parâmetros do desenvolvimento sustentável. Assim, o presente artigo se propôs a responder se universitários, por meio da educação ambiental, podem atuar como agentes multiplicadores em prol de referida transformação. Concluiu-se que tais atores sociais são perfeitamente capazes de atuar como agentes multiplicadores, atrelando direitos humanos e educação ambiental a mobilizações sociais. O método usado foi o teórico-jurídico com raciocínio dedutivo e técnica de pesquisa bibliográfica.

UNIVERSITIES AS MULTIPLYING AGENTS: HUMAN RIGHTS AND ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION FOR SOCIAL TRANSFORMATION EMBODIED IN SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

It is possible for the community to develop, through environmental education, a critical ecological awareness, in favor of a social transformation, according to sustainable development parameters. Thus, the present article has proposed to respond if university students, through environmental education, can act as multiplier agents with a fulcrum in said transformation. It was concluded that such social actors are perfectly capable of acting as multiplier agents, linking human rights and environmental education to social mobilizations. The method used was the theoretical-juridical with deductive reasoning and bibliographic research technique.
