A PROMOÇÃO DO VIÉS AMBIENTAL DA SUSTENTABILIDADE POR MEIO DA INTELIGÊNCIA ARTIFICIAL: UM CAMINHO POSSÍVEL?

O desenvolvimento sustentável exprime relação entre o crescimento econômico, o meio ambiente e a preservação das presentes e futuras gerações. Nesse sentido, bem como considerando o avanço das novas tecnologias, em especial do emprego de inteligência artificial, cumpre questionar: em que medida é possível promover o viés ambiental da sustentabilidade, garantindo às presentes e às futuras gerações o direito ao meio ambiente ecologicamente equilibrado, por meio do emprego de sistemas dotados de inteligência artificial (IA)? Sendo assim, o estudo visa apresentar formas de promover o viés ambiental da sustentabilidade, garantindo às presentes e às futuras gerações o direito ao meio ambiente ecologicamente equilibrado, a partir de mecanismos dotados de inteligência artificial. Para responder tal problemática e atingir o objetivo proposto, utiliza-se o método de abordagem dedutivo e como métodos de procedimento emprega-se o estruturalista. Ademais, importante referir que o artigo está dividido em três seções. Na primeira, aborda-se a sustentabilidade, especialmente o seu viés ambiental. Na segunda, analisa-se o conceito e o funcionamento dos sistemas dotados de IA, a partir de uma abordagem interdisciplinar. Na última seção, aprecia-se como a IA pode auxiliar na promoção da sustentabilidade ambiental. Assim, ao final, concluiu-se que, a IA é uma ferramenta capaz de promover o viés ambiental da sustentabilidade, o que já se verifica em diversas situações.

Sustainable development expresses the relationship between growth economy and the preservation the environment of present and future generations. In that sense, as well as considering the advancement of new technologies, especially use of artificial intelligence, this articule asking: it is possible promote the sustainability environmental through employment of systems equipped with artificial intelligence (AI)? Therefore, the study aims to present ways to promote the sustainability environmental, ensuring present and future generations the right to an ecologically balanced environment, from mechanisms endowed with artificial intelligence. To answer the research problem, it has been adopted as a "method" for approach and procedure, respectively, the structuralist. Furthermore, importante mention that the article is divided into three sections. In the first, it addresses the sustainability environmental. In the second, study the concept of AI and the functioning of systems equipped with AI. In the last section, it is appreciated how AI can help to promote environmental sustainability. Finally, it was concluded that AI is able to help promote the sustainability environmental, which has already been verified in concrete situations.
